The buzzing coming from the Fiesta’s dash wasn’t a problem to start with, but then it became like a dripping tap – more and more annoying the longer it stuck around.
So it was time for a trip to the Bristol Street dealership in Bromley, Kent. However, the first time the car was due to be looked at, I turned up to find out that, due to a misunderstanding, I hadn’t booked a courtesy car. Fair enough, so the Fiesta was rebooked in for the following Wednesday. But on that day it transpired the Fiesta, and the courtesy car, had been booked for the day before, so the buzz remained. Unfortunately, there was also no apology for the dealership’s error, with the member of staff maintaining it was his colleague’s error and therefore not his problem. Finally, when the car was looked at, the work took two days rather than one. Bristol Street then tried to charge for the extra day of the courtesy car, but when it was pointed out the original estimation time for the work had only been one day, this was reduced. On the plus side, the buzzing noise, which turned out to be a faulty temperature sensor located behind the dashboard, has been fixed. Bliss.
