Little things please little minds, which is why we’re happy discovering a couple of nice touches.

First up is the Mazda 6’s Bluetooth phone system. It’s hideous to set up, requiring comprehensive reading of the manual and total use of voice activation, but once the system is working, it’s faultless.

The second thing is the external boot release button. It’s an obvious but nice touch, and we’re glad Mazda, which has been a bit reluctant in the past to embrace this feature, has added it to the car.
