Volkswagen has unveiled the ID. Every1, a concept car that previews a future entry-level model for its EV range.

The ID. Every1 features a 95hp electric motor, and a range of at least 155 miles.

It measures 3,880mm long, which places it between the model VW describes as its predecessor, the Up, and the Polo.

The ID. Every1 is said to have space on board for four adults, and a 305-litre boot.

VW says the production car based on the concept will debut in 2027, with a starting price of around 20,000 euros.

It will form part of the manufacturers Electric Urban Car family, alongside the ID.2, due to arrive in 2026.

The production ID. Every1 will also be the first VW to feature a new software architecture, allowing the vehicle to be equipped with new functions during its life cycle.
