The BVRLA is holding a new course designed to support women working in the fleet sector.

The Women’s Voices in Fleet course, supported by the Association of Fleet Professionals (AFP), is intended to help delegates feel confident, clear and persuasive when speaking publicly.

The course, available to book via the BVRLA’s website, extends the relationship between the rental and leasing industry body and the AFP, following the launch of the first joint training initiative between the two organisations last month.

BVRLA head of learning and development Mark Pow said: “As a sector we are making a lot of positive strides to make it a more inclusive environment where everyone can flourish. The Women’s Voices in Fleet course is a great way to accelerate that progression.

“We are fortunate to have incredible individuals working across the BVRLA membership; this course will help to make sure they can all have their voices heard.”

AFP training manager Ronnie Gillman said: “We are pleased to be expanding our collaboration with the BVRLA. Together, we are making vital resources available to more individuals working in fleet, expanding those opportunities to raise knowledge and standards.

“The salary sacrifice training we recently delivered in conjunction with the BVRLA was very popular with our members. The Women’s Voices in Fleet course has the power to change lives and careers and we are delighted to be giving more industry colleagues the opportunity to develop their full potential.”
