Kia has revealed its new medium electric car, the EV4.
The model has been unveiled with both saloon and hatchback bodystyles.
It comes with a choice of 58.3kWh and 81.4kWh batteries, with a projected WLTP range of up to 391 miles for the saloon, and 366 miles for the hatchback, owing to the saloon’s better aerodynamics. A 10-80% battery charge will be possible in 31 minutes, and vehicle-to-grid and vehicle-to-load functionality is supported.
A 204hp electric motor accompanies both battery options.
The saloon measures 4,730mm in length, and has a 490-litre boot, while the hatchback measures 4,430mm in length, and has a 435-litre boot.
Available interior features will include a 30in combined widescreen display set-up, incorporating two 12.3in screens and a 5.3in screen. A Vehicle Smart TV system will offer entertainment including YouTube, Netflix, Disney+, games and karaoke, with a Theatre Mode optimising viewing settings for the 30in display.
The European launch of the EV4 will take place in the second half of 2025. Full UK specs and prices are yet to be announced.
