Citroen has revealed UK specs and prices for updated versions of its C4 SUV and C4 X SUV-saloon, including the E-C4 and E-C4 X electric versions.
The updated models feature Citroen’s new design identity, with the front end undergoing significant changes to incorporate the new brand logo.
The C4 comes with a choice of 130hp petrol, or 100hp or 136hp petrol 48V hybrid engines, while the C4 X comes with the 136hp version only.
The E-C4 and E-C4 X come with a choice of 136hp or 156hp electric motors, with 50kWh or 54kWh batteries.
The C4 and E-C4 ranges start with the You! equipment grade, with features including 18in alloy wheels, a 10in touchscreen with wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto connectivity, automatic windscreen wipers, LED lights, rear parking sensors, and dual-zone climate control.
Further features with the Plus equipment grade – which marks the starting point for the C4 X and E-C4 X ranges – include a reversing camera, electrically folding mirrors, an anti-theft alarm, sat-nav, and a 7in driver display.
Features of the range-topping Max grade include dark tinted rear windows, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, automatic intelligent beam headlights, and adaptive cruise control with stop and go.
Prices for the C4 and E-C4 start at £22,295 and £26,295 respectively – the latter said to be a reduction of more than £5,600 compared with the previous model – while the C4 X and E-C4 X start at £24,735 and £27,360.
Orders will open later this week, with deliveries due in early 2025.
