Jaecoo has opened orders for its first model to be sold in the UK.
The Jaecoo 7 medium SUV, which measures 4,500mm in length, is available with either a 147hp petrol engine, or a 204hp plug-in hybrid powertrain – the latter featuring an 18.3kWh battery providing an electric-only range of 56 miles. The petrol is available with four-wheel drive.
Interior equipment includes a 14.8in touchscreen, a 10.25in driver display, a head-up display, a wireless phone charger, and a panoramic roof.
Other features include a 540-degree panoramic camera system.
Prices start at £29,435 for a 2WD petrol, £32,850 for a 4WD petrol, and £35,065 for a plug-in hybrid.
Jaecoo is part of Chinese group Chery, which is also bringing the Omoda brand to the UK.
The first deliveries of the Jaecoo 7 are scheduled for January.
