A five-week consultation on the extended congestion charge zone will begin in early September, says London Mayor Boris Johnson.
The consultation is open to anyone, but Transport for London (TfL) is most keen to hear from residents, businesses and retailers in and around the zone.
“The western extension is a massive issue for those that live and work in the west of our city,” said Johnson. “This is not a referendum, so it won’t be limited to ‘do you or don’t you want to keep it?'”
Once the consultation opens, interested parties will be able to fill in a questionnaire online at www.tfl.gov.uk or request a leaflet direct from TfL.
