Volkswagen‘s new ‘Comfort Coupe’ Passat will be available from £21,040, rising to £31,120 for the 3.6-litre V6 GT.
The entry-level 160PS 1.8-litre TFSI costs nearly £4000 more than the equivalent Passat saloon, while the top spec version brings a premium of nearly £5000.
The CC comes in two trim levels – standard and GT. Standard includes 17-inch alloy wheels, six airbags, a touch-screen six-CD auto-changer and ESP.
GT trims adds adaptive chassis control, which allows the driver to change the firmness of the ride.
Two petrol engines – the 1.8-litre and a 300PS 3.6-litre – and one 140PS 2.0-litre diesel will be available when the first cars arrive in the UK in July.
