Korean car maker Kia has appointed Andrew Sellars as its new head of fleet and remarketing.
Sellars, who started with Kia in 2003 as regional business manager, has been promoted to the role from area manager for the North of England, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Taking over from Bob Austin, who has left Kia, Sellars will support the firm’s business car push through its fleet specialist dealers as well as managing the brand’s residual values.
Sellars will report to sales director Yaser Shabsogh. Commenting on the appointment Shabsogh said: “Andrew is the perfect individual for this role because he has such extensive experience of our dealer network. He has been with the Kia brand throughout the last five years and so has seen how our growth has been built on dramatically improving product quality and a closely focused retail strategy that is delivering sustainable and profitable growth for both the dealer network and the brand nationally.”
