Hyundai has revealed UK specs and prices for the new, fifth-generation version of its Santa Fe large SUV.
The model will be available with a choice of hybrid and plug-in hybrid powertrains, offering 215hp and 253hp respectively, with the former either two- or four-wheel drive, and the latter four-wheel drive only.
The new Santa Fe, which Hyundai itself describes as featuring ‘boxy’ exterior styling, will come with seven seats as standard, with a six-seat configuration available as an option.
Three equipment grades will be on offer – Premium, Ultimate, and Calligraphy.
Standard equipment with the Premium grade will include 20in alloy wheels, electrically operated and folding door mirrors, privacy glass, front and rear LED lighting, a smart powered tailgate, roof rails, a dual curved 12.3in display with sat-nav, Apple Carplay and Android Auto connectivity, USB-C ports for charging in all three rows of seats, wireless phone charging, and electrically controlled and heated front seats with separate driver’s seat lumbar support.
Further features of the Ultimate grade include a Bose premium sound system, dual glass sunroof, electrically adjustable steering column and driver’s memory seat function, heated and ventilated front and heated rear seats, dual wireless phone charging, a digital centre mirror, a head-up display, Highway Drive Asist 2, remote smart park assist, blind spot view monitor, and surround view monitor.
Extra equipment with Calligraphy spec includes black alloy wheels, black exterior detailing, and leather seat trim.
Indicative range prices – which Hyundai says could change once CO2 emissions and technical data have been confirmed – start at £46,775 for a two-wheel drive hybrid Premium, and rise as high as £57,635 for a plug-in hybrid Calligraphy.
