BMW has unveiled an updated version of the X7, its largest SUV.
Exterior design changes include updated adaptive matrix LED headlights, a new front grille with ‘cascade’ lighting, redesigned rear lights, and newly-available 23in alloy wheels – the largest ever for a BMW.
Interior upgrades include the addition of BMW’s ‘Curved Display’ set-up, with a 14.9in infotainment screen alongside a 12.3in driver display, and new ambient lighting.
Three engine options are available – 380hp and 530hp petrols, and a 340hp diesel. All come with 48V mild hybrid technology, but this isn’t enough to keep them all out of the top 37% BIK company car tax bracket according to provisional CO2 figures, which are from 210g/km, 278g/km, and 200g/km respectively.
All the engines also come with four-wheel drive and eight-speed automatic transmission as standard.
The X7 is available with either six or seven seats. Boot capacity is 326 litres with them all in place, and up to 2,120 litres with the second and third rows of seats folded down.
The updated X7 is available to order now. Prices start at £80,980 for the diesel, £81,600 for the 380hp petrol and £103,600 for the 530hp petrol.
