A downloadable software update has been released for the Polestar 2 EV, designed to increase performance.
Applicable to the model’s Long Range Dual Motor variant, the upgrade means its electric powertrain can now produce an extra 68hp, taking its total to 476hp, as well as an extra 20Nm of torque.
The upgrade is said to have improved acceleration both from standstill, and at mid-range speeds.
It is being rolled out to drivers with eligible cars via the Polestar Extras web shop, and is said to have been downloaded to more than 400 vehicles since its introduction in late-November.
