Fleet software firm Jaama has added a new module for drivers to its Key2 management system.
The MyDriver Portal allows drivers of company vehicles, as well as grey fleet drivers, to manage their own personal information online, including their name, address, contact details and driving licence information.
It also allows them to update vehicle odometer readings, and other information about MOT tests, services, tax and insurance.
When employees log in to MyDriver Portal and make changes to their information it automatically updates the associated driver record in Key2, and electronic consent for DVLA licence checks reduces the potential for clerical errors or conflicts due to multiple data entry points.
The module is delivered with Jaama branding but can be adapted in line with clients’ own corporate branding requirements.
Jaama managing director Martin Evans (pictured) said: “MyDriver Portal is a further push by Jaama towards self-service and paperless fleet management.
“The administration burden on fleet decision-makers is continually increasing. As a result, there is an increasing desire in conversations with our customers to remove what is considered ‘routine’, but remains critically important.
“Tools, such as MyDriver Portal, that enable drivers to self-help are becoming an essential requirement for fleet operators, and save significant back office manual intervention.”
