Following last week’s large-scale cabinet reshuffle, Rosie Winterton has been appointed as the new minister of state for transport, replacing Stephen Ladyman.
Doncaster Central MP Winterton had been minister of state at the Department of Health for the last four years, and will now report into new secretary of state for transport Ruth Kelly.
