Auction company G3 Remarketing has appointed Russell Gill as buyer services manager.
In his new role, Gill will head up a newly developed customer support team, which the firm says will focus on buyer experience and engagement, with responsibilities including improving conversion rates, managing G3’s assured programme, and driving customer satisfaction initiatives.
Gill has 15 years of motor industry experience, and was most recently group buyer and disposal manager for The Harratts Group.
G3 has also restructured its front-of-house team to create two buyer services assistants to support Gill, with Sophie Johnson and Louise Chappell taking the new positions.
G3 sales and marketing director Roger Evans said: “We believe Russell’s hands-on purchasing experience positions him perfectly for this buyer-focused role.
“The introduction of the new team shows how serious we are about putting the customer at the heart of the business.
“We believe that by improving the experience a customer has at G3 we strengthen their loyalty to us and, in turn, further develop our vendor performance.
“Improving both buyer and vendor relations helps us grow as a business and supports our aspirations to become the leading independent vehicle remarketing provider in the country.”
