Skoda has been awarded a place on a new government framework agreement to supply vehicles to public sector bodies and emergency services.
The firm expects to deliver around 5,000 vehicles over the next four years as a result of membership of the RM6060 framework, drawn up by the Crown Commercial Service.
Skoda’s place in the agreement, secured following a successful tender, means that any UK public or third sector service – from NHS trusts and housing associations to emergency services and central government departments – can add Skoda vehicles to their fleet.
Skoda head of fleet Henry Williams said: “There is a focus for frontline public services to drive efficiencies for both time and cost.
“We have worked effectively with government bodies over the past decade to ensure that we meet their requirements and provide a reliable service.
“I look forward to continuing this partnership over the next four years.”
