Auction firm Aston Barclay has announced staffing changes.
Adrian Dunbar (pictured, left) has been appointed to the newly created role of group governance manager, with Richard Farrar (pictured, right) replacing him as centre manager at the firm’s Chelmsford site.
Dunbar, who was manager at Chelmsford for eight years, will now be managing all elements of Aston Barclay’s compliance commitments, including individual auction centres.
He will also be responsible for managing Aston Barclay Assured and will become a key part of the new product development team.
Dunbar has been tasked with using his internal knowledge of the business and extensive remarketing experience to develop operational processes for an array of new online and physical products and services in the coming years.
Farrar joins Aston Barclay having spent the past 20 years at Cox Automotive.
Aston Barclay group operations director Martin Potter (pictured, centre) said: “Governance is an increasingly important part of our business, so it’s great to see Adrian’s considerable expertise being put to good use supporting individual auction centres and the group’s product development team.
“I know he will rise to the challenge as we develop and launch new products and services in Q4 and early 2019.
“I would also like to welcome Richard to his new role. With over 20 years remarketing experience, he has car auctions in his blood and we know he will enjoy his new challenge of managing our longest established auction facility.”
