Fuel prices have shot up in the last week, with unleaded rising by 1.7p a litre and diesel by 0.9, according to the latest figures from fleet management and fuel card provider Arval. The rises mean unleaded has shot up by nearly 2.5p in the last fortnight, with Belfast continuing to be the most expensive place to buy diesel, and London the most expensive to buy unleaded. Super unleaded passed the £1 per litre mark, and LPG reversed the previous week’s trend and rose, though only by 0.4p.
