Fleet management software company Chevin Fleet Solutions has promoted David Gladding to the newly created role of global sales and marketing director as the firm aims to grow further.
Gladding previously held the role of UK sales director within the business, and his new position will see him planning sales operations around the world.
All regional sales directors will report into Gladding as part of his new role. A replacement to fill the UK sales director role has not been announced at this stage, but a spokesman for the company told BusinessCar that Chevin has bolstered the UK sales team with the appointment of two new sales managers.
The new role was created following a 57% growth in revenue in 2016, while last year marked Chevin’s biggest recruitment drive in order to meet customer demand.
“David is a central member of the Chevin team with an unparalleled understanding of the global fleet management industry,” said Ashley Sowerby, managing director of Chevin. “Starting with us back in 2013, he has worked tirelessly to help increase revenue, deliver improvements in customer account management and help Chevin and its customers achieve many goals and improvements across the board.
“David will be transitioning out of his UK dedicated role over the next few months and I look forward to working with him on an ongoing basis,” he added.
