Leasing company Alphabet has appointed Leo Taylor as its new head of product management.

Taylor joins the BMW-owned leasing company from its parent company’s Global Financial Services division, where he was responsible for the development of the services offered for the last three years.

Prior to that, he worked for Alphabet in Germany, having started his career with the UK arm in 2003 where he worked in a number of commercial roles.

Taylor will report into Mark Gibson, head of marketing and business development at Alphabet, who welcomed the appointment: I’m delighted to welcome someone of Leo’s breadth of experience to the team. Alphabet’s ethos is to keep our customers on the move and keep moving ahead as a business, so the ongoing development of our product portfolio is crucial to our continued success.”

“I’m really pleased to be re-joining the rapidly-changing mobility sector and personally feel like I have returned ‘home’ to the Alphabet family. I spent an early part of my career with the company so it is incredible to come back and see the progress that the company has made. From the extensive range of products and services on offer, the growth in ultra-low emission vehicles, the rise of ‘shared usage’ vehicles, the business and industry have changed enormously,” Taylor said.
