Property developer Redrow Homes will take on 600 cars and commercial vehicles from the UK’s largest leasing company, Lex, over the next three years in a new fleet deal.
The new vehicles are set to support a recruitment drive as the Redrow plans to hire 250 new employees to join its 1200-strong team this year.
The deal is expected to reduce fleet costs for the company by digitising manual processes, such as invoicing and vehicle ordering.
“As we look to continue to invest in our business following our record first half performance, it’s integral that we have the support packages in place to provide the best for our employees, and in Lex Autolease, we have a supplier that can quickly scale up to meet our needs,” said Martin Gilpin, HR manager at Redrow Homes.
