That’s the view I had through the CX-3’s windscreen on a few winter’s mornings. When the temperatures went south, the car’s glass became prone to condensation – not only first thing in the morning, but also when the car was full of people.

In the first instance, the Mazda could have done with quick-clearing windscreen tech, such as Ford’s, because, particularly when you’re in a rush, it feels like it takes an age for the water droplets to clear. In the second instance, the speed at which the aircon fans operate had to be kept relatively high to prevent the windscreen from fogging over again, making for a noisy and, in terms of climate control, slightly uncomfortable interior.
