As promised by Audi when we first took delivery, the fuel economy from the TT’s 184hp 2.0-litre diesel is definitely getting better with mileage.
Ever since it went through 5000 miles I’ve been regularly seeing mid-50mpg figures for brim-to-brim fills, and higher on longer motorway runs. I recently recorded a new personal best for a full tank of 57.4mpg with only a bit of eco-effort in my driving.
And even when you ditch the eco-effort and have a bit of fun the TT still returns what I consider to be a good figure – in the most recent case 46.6mpg
