Having now lived with the TT for a few months there are some great things you take for granted, but that are well worth a mention in dispatches. An ideal example is the fuel filler cap.
For starters, it has the ‘TT’ logo embossed on it, which I like because it shows attention to detail.
However, what it hides is a filler neck that doesn’t have a screw-on cap.
It’s a simple thing, and it’s hardly a first, but it does make life so much easier and cleaner by lowering the chance of getting diesel on your hands. You just have to follow the five-second rule printed on the inside of the fuel flap to stop backwash when you remove the pump.
