Kia has announced former Toyota commercial director Paul Philpott as its new managing director.
Philpott had been at Toyota for nearly a decade, joining from Ford as general manager, marketing, before working up to marketing director, then commercial director.
He takes over the top job at Kia from Paul Williams, who left abruptly last summer and now heads Chinese firm Landwind’s European operations.
