The maximum de-frost/de-fog mode is competent rather than outstanding in clearing the front screen, although annoyingly it doesn’t have a graduated fan application, just the adjustable separate upward airflow setting.
Meanwhile, embedded heating elements – like the front windscreen element that until recently were the almost exclusive domain of Ford vehicles – would minimise time-consuming scraping and spraying as appointments loom for fleet drivers.
