Leasing giant ALD Automotive has won a new contract to supply vehicles and fleet management services to tech services company Imtech UK.
Imtech runs a 1171-strong fleet of cars and vans, split 60:40 respectively, and will switch to ALD for the next four years.
Imtech, which operates in the electrical, mechanical and ICT engineering industry has more than 28,000 employees and has a number of UK operating divisions running vehicle fleets, used fleet consultancy ERA Fleet Cost Management to run the contract tender process.
It runs a mix of essential user cars chosen for their practicality and user-chooser cars selected by whole-life costs. The van fleet is split between Peugeot and Vauxhall.
Mel Dawson, managing director of ALD Automotive, said: “The four-year agreement between ALD and Imtech UK highlights their confidence in our ability to deliver a fully outsourced fleet management solution.
“The combination of ALD Automotive’s account management team and our in-house systems development will ensure that all of Imtech Group’s objectives for managing their fleet are achieved.”
